About us

Matt founded Pro-Manage in 2020 as a Covid-19 lockdown-induced test case for life away from Quarry Operations Management. When an ex. quarrying colleague, Tom, started talking about trying the same thing, they agreed to work together and test a theory they had begun to form:

“There’s a particular type of business which uses big machines and big processes to make things, and in those businesses, it’s the little operational details which make or break an outcome. Details don’t get translated into meaningful commercial insights for decision-makers and leaders. We’re quite good at that…”

Fast forward four years and Matt and Tom are quietly confident in their theory. Together their operational and commercial expertise has created successful outcomes in a broad range of operations-driven industries, and clients keep coming back for more.

True to their quarrying roots Pro-Manage isn’t a flashy outfit. There’s no big office in town (although, Tom does refer to his back-of-garden office as ‘Global HQ’), you won’t find an army of faceless ‘experts’ on video calls, and truth be told, Matt and Tom are WAY more comfortable in boots than suits.

Pro-manage prides itself on honest, quality advice that makes a real difference.
